Description
The Wellness Program Supervisor / Program Coordinator is responsible for acting as a liaison between administrative and clinical & peer support staff in that program.
Additional responsibilities include; maintaining a client caseload, providing group therapy, and coordination / supervision of positions in this program, maintenance of medical records.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required
- Two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health setting or equivalent related field.
- One year post licensure successful supervisory and administrative experience in a community mental health setting; or the ability to provide supervision and administration.
Desired Experience
Clinical experience in a setting working with the severely and persistently mentally ill.
Minimum Education Required
Program / Degree completion in social work or psychology from an accredited school. Licensed in the state of California.
Desired Education
- Post-graduate training in forensic mental health.
- PsyD / PhD in Psychology, social work, or related field.
- Two years post-licensure with ability to supervise practicum students and interns.
