Summary
Job Summary The Enterostomal / Wound / Skin Coordinator will have responsibility / accountability for leading and managing the Enterotomal / Wound / Skin Department by defining the mission, goals, budget, and performance standards to produce desired outcomes.
The Coordinator will also provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems.
This specialized nursing care is given independently, and in collaboration with nursing colleagues and / or with members of other health disciplines.
Job Requirements Education Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred : Master’s Degree in Nursing Experience Required : 3 years Enterostomal / Wound / Skin experience Preferred : Previous supervisory experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate effective leadership abilities Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking / problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Licensure / Certification / Registration Required : Current MO RN License AND CWON, CWCN, CWOCN, or WCC Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire Preferred : CWOCN
