DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is actively seeking a Project Manager in the Bridge Group to join our Phoenix, AZ Operations on DOT and municipal projects from inception through completion.
Duties include :
- Manage bridge analysis, design, reports, plan production, etc.
- Lead projects with multiple disciplines and subconsultants
- Provide technical guidance and training for junior staff
- Implement and / or conduct QA / QC procedures
- Arrange, prepare, and conduct internal and external meetings
- Prepare budgets, scopes, and schedules
- Prepare invoicing and complete billing for assigned projects
- Other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 7+ years of experience in bridge engineering
- AZ professional engineer (PE) registration
- Experience managing and mentoring engineering staff
- Working knowledge of industry engineering software
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage : communication with clients, staff and peers budgets and schedules teams across multiple offices subconsultants change problem-solving, negotiations, decisions other typical business requirements
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $115to 170K. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
