Summary

Process and generate financial data for all departments, which together represent the accurate financial conditions of the business.

Accurately process / oversee title processing, payroll, accounting schedules, and other accounting and administrative functions.

Essential Duties

  • Train and supervise office personnel.
  • Controls all posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, additions, and changes to inventory.
  • Prepares daily bank deposit.
  • Reconciles select accounts monthly.
  • Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, protections and advertising accounts are current and accurate.
  • Prints and reconciles monthly journals, schedules, and general ledgers.
  • Ensures compliance with government agencies.
  • Prepares payroll on a timely basis, posts payroll and maintains payroll record.
  • Prepares tax reports, tax deposits, and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Processes paperwork for new employees and terminations.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Attends managers meetings as requested.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
