Summary
Process and generate financial data for all departments, which together represent the accurate financial conditions of the business.
Accurately process / oversee title processing, payroll, accounting schedules, and other accounting and administrative functions.
Essential Duties
- Train and supervise office personnel.
- Controls all posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, additions, and changes to inventory.
- Prepares daily bank deposit.
- Reconciles select accounts monthly.
- Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, protections and advertising accounts are current and accurate.
- Prints and reconciles monthly journals, schedules, and general ledgers.
- Ensures compliance with government agencies.
- Prepares payroll on a timely basis, posts payroll and maintains payroll record.
- Prepares tax reports, tax deposits, and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Processes paperwork for new employees and terminations.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
