Beckett Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, located in West Chester, OH , is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our esteemed team on a part-time basis.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive History and Physicals (H&Ps) for children and adolescents enrolled in our outpatient program at both our Main Campus and Wunnenberg site .
The Wunnenberg site, situated approximately yards from the main campus, is dedicated exclusively to adolescent outpatient services.
Additionally, the PMHNP will be called upon to provide coverage for adolescent inpatient H&Ps on an as-needed basis for our -bed adolescent unit.
Position Details
- Oversees the quality of care delivered to his / her patients.
- Assesses patient(s) and complete health history and physical evaluations in a timely manner. Addresses medical concerns at time of admission and throughout the patients’ treatment.
- Communicates medical decisions to staff to ensure appropriate care.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.
- Completes all documentation requirements legibly and within time frames established by Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
- Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates collaboratively in scheduled staffing regarding the treatment of his / her patients.
- Demonstrates appropriate medication administration and ensures that documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Requirements :
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry / Mental Health required; board certification preferred.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) required.
- Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting preferred.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) preferred and obtained within days of hire. Successful credentialing with the facility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.
