1 st Shift (6 : 00am-2 : 30pm)

Lead Marine is currently looking to hire Sheetmetal Installers & Fabricators for the Shipyard Industry here in San Diego.

This Sheetmetal job will be working on base in Pt Loma from 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm and overtime as needed. DBIDs badge in hand is a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Rip out old sheet metal such as bunks, tables, benches.
• Repair and install sheet metal ventilation systems, etc.
• Work with apprentice and helpers to install new sheet metal parts.
• Make sure work site and areas are clean of construction debris.

Requirements :

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
• Must be willing and able to work as a team.
• Candidates will be required to get Naval Base Clearance
• Must have knowledge of the various types of metals and sizes.
• Must have basic tools of the sheet metal trade.
