JOB SUMMARY :
An industry leader in the cosmetic industry which is based in the Gauteng Province and within the Longmeadow area, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Key Account Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Cost to Company : R 240 000.00 per annum
Experience
- The successful incumbent must possess at least five years’ experience in terms of performing the functions and responsibilities of a key account manager, including working with team members to optimally achieve the Company’s objectives and targets.
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
Formal qualifications
- Matric of equivalent NQF level of education.
- Valid driving license code 08
Computer related software and programming
Competent with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Manage orders from start to finish and ensure delivery at store level is successful
- Manage merchandising activities and in store execution
- Identify marketing strategies and implement these strategies and promotions
- Analysing all aspects of sales data and providing directors with strategic advice and decisions
- Running competitor analysis
- Growing product pipeline and managing project pipeline until execution
