Associate Counsel, P&C Insurance Fronting Contact Drafting / Negotiating experience (5-7 years)

Fully REMOTE role with minimal travel. NOTE : Candidates residing on the east coast / EST are preferred.

Growing stable P&C program insurance fronting platform company is seeking an Associate Counsel hire with 5-7 years of Insurance & Reinsurance Agreement / Contracting experience.

The company seeks experience negotiating, reviewing & drafting new and renewal agreements critical to the fronting business model, i.

e., general agency agreements, claim administration agreements with TPAs, reinsurance agreements (quota share), and NDAs.

There will also be some vendor and ancillary agreements (i.e., collateral, service and vendor agreements). The attorney will also research, review and interpret new or revised laws, regulations, bulletins and other regulatory publications applicable to their business, and conduct ad hoc regulatory and compliance-related research / projects.

Candidates MUST HAVE P&C Comm. lines experience, reinsurance contracting, and experience with personal lines and specialty insurance products a strong plus.

Programs business experience is a strong plus. Candidates MUST HAVE have strong communication, ability to quickly adapt to change and multi-task various assignments, analytical & critical thinking skills to quickly & concisely identify significant issues, and excellent drafting / negotiation skills and proven ability to craft proposed solutions & contractual provisions.

This role can be 100% remote although the company usually meets 2x / year collaboration and team building. Candidates residing / located on the East Coast / EST is also strongly preferred.

This role is an add-to-staff position. No more than 10-15% travel.
