Lab Technician

R&D Lab Technician

Shift : M-F, standard working hours

Pay : $33.00-45.00 / hour

Overview :

The R&D Lab Technician will complete various laboratory tasks and process improvement projects. In this role, you will interact with R&D Associates, cross functional team members and have the opportunity to support the development of assays.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Lab and Safety Manager to oversee and manage the calibration, maintenance and replacement schedules of lab equipment and resolve any errors observed.
• Serve as point of contact with EHS, calibration, facilities, janitorial and IT to resolve issues in the labs.
• Place orders for lab supplies, lab coats, handle the stockroom inventory and have a good knowledge of lab supplies used at R&D.

Requirements :

• Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences.
• Minimum 1-2 years laboratory experience in a BSL-2 laboratory.
• Experience in a CAP / CLIA / GMP / ISO regulated environment.
