Oversee day-to-day landfill operations, including waste receipt, disposal, and site maintenance

Ensure equipment (bulldozers, compactors, trucks, etc.) Monitor landfill capacity and coordinate waste placement according to engineering and environmental plans

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements (EPA, state, and tribal regulations)

Manage traffic flow, weigh stations, and tipping operations for efficiency and safety

oversee safety programs, inspections, and incident reporting

Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other safety standards

Monitor environmental

• stormwater management, leachate handling, air quality, and methane gas controls

Previous experience in landfill or solid waste management preferred

Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and site safety

Familiarity with environmental regulations (local, state, federal, and tribal)

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Ability to manage contractors and vendors

Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $40.28 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
