The Pediatric Urgent Care physician will be responsible to provide direct patient care to infants, children, adolescent patients.

Responsibilities

The Urgent Care physician will be dedicated to diagnose, treat and document patient health. Including examine patients for broad spectrum of illness, injury and, including onsite diagnostic tests, interpret the results, order appropriate medications, and other treatments.

The position offers a flexible schedule of 32-36 clinical hours per week. The physician shall work a minimum of 17 urgent care shifts per month.

The duration of shifts is primarily eight hours. Weekend-only options are available for additional compensation.

The physician will be expected to teach medical students, pediatric residents, graduate students, and various allied health professionals.

Qualifications

Candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatrics. Experience in general pediatric practice, urgent care or emergency medicine is desired.
