Title : Accounts Payable Clerk
Pay : $24.00-25.89 / hour
Hours : Monday-Friday; 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (30-60 min unpaid lunch)
Location : 33321 Dowe Ave, Union City, CA 94587 (Onsite 100%)
Overview
This temporary, full-time Accounts Payable Clerk role (3-6 months) supports the accounting department with invoice processing, payment disbursements, and financial data management. The position involves a mix of clerical, accounting, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Process vendor payments by verifying entries and reconciling balances
- Code, scan, and index invoices into SAP
- Audit and process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with policy
- Disburse payments to suppliers, vendors, and employees
- Verify general ledger codes for all vendor invoices
- File trade invoices daily after voucher processing
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain and renew business licenses annually in accordance with state and federal laws
- Support various accounting needs, including data entry, scanning, copying, filing, answering phones, and working with Excel spreadsheets
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with vendors and internal departments
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
