Position Summary

GENESYS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the accuracy and timeliness of financial data across various aspects of our operations.  The staff accountant will complete weekly payroll, assist with the weekly accounts payable check runs and support Accounts Receivable.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain full-cycle accounting experience within a complex construction / manufacturing / engineering environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

• Record payroll journal entries including gross wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
• Input, submit and review all new union field hires and layoffs
• Submit union benefits and withholding taxes to individual states

AP and AR Support
