We manufacture water-efficient products including flush valves, electronic faucets, soap dispensing and sink systems along with vitreous china fixtures for commercial, industrial and institutional markets worldwide.
Sloan has an immediate opening for a in our Andover, MA facility. In this role you will perform a variety of hydraulic plumbing tests and basic mechanical testing
Responsibilities include :
- Perform a variety of standard tests as requested
- Aid Test Engineer's in the building of mechanical and electrical test fixtures
- You will provide technical support to R&D efforts.
- Maintain operation and documentation of all of the test equipment or updating of testing procedures
- Maintain engineering labs
- Schedule, build and test prototype when needed
Qualifications :
- Associate Degree
- 2+ Years relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to communicate with Engineers and others other internal groups on a regular basis.
- Ability to safely maneuver large bulk fixtures in excess of 50 lbs.
- Able to work independently and multi task on various projects.
- Familiarity and safe use of small tools and drill presses as well as high pressure and high flow testing equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Data Acquisition software such as Lab View.
- Perform basic plumbing installations, have a basic plumbing knowledge, basic Geometry and a basic working knowledge of flushometer
- Ability to work on PCB programming, testing and debugging preferred.
- A basic knowledge of statistics such as averaging and standard deviations preferred
