We are hiring an experienced and skilled Packaging Engineer. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, optimize packaging processes, and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Candidates should have expertise in packaging equipment and technologies to support the production of pharmaceutical products.

Conduct research, assessment, and selection of suitable packaging equipment and technologies tailored to the unique needs of pharmaceutical products.

This entails comprehending the capabilities of the equipment, ensuring compatibility with product specifications, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Continuously analyze and optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Implement innovative solutions and best practices to streamline operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide technical support for troubleshooting packaging equipment issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of packaging equipment.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of packaging processes, equipment configurations, and validation activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, cGMP guidelines, and relevant industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables and timelines.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing setting with 3+ years of experience in packaging, preferably in the pharmaceutical / life science industry.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging equipment and technologies, including case packer, cartoners, vision inspection system, checkweighers, filling machines, labeling systems, blister packaging machines, and serialization solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
