Construction Project Manager
We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in Construction Management and General Construction to join our team.
The Project Manager is responsible for providing detailed and accurate project information and managing the financial success of the project including multiple subcontractors in multiple disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Project Management of commercial construction projects ranging in volume from $5 million and greater and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and under budget.
Dugan & Meyers has a collaborative approach. We have 90 years of experience in the construction industry including General Construction, Construction Management, Design Build, Industrial Treatment (WTP / WWTP), and Concrete Construction services.

Your responsibilities in this role :
- Primary representative of Dugan & Meyers on each project who is fully responsible for every phase of the project’s operation and completion
- Serves as the company liaison with co-workers, clients, and project stakeholders to seamlessly coordinate and effectively communicate the flow of information
- Initiates cost control and reporting procedures in conjunction with the Estimating and Accounting teams
- Manages financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, contractor and supplier payments, equipment rentals, back charges, etc.
Prepares monthly financial projections for leadership review
- Works with the Safety department to ensure the project’s safety program and culture is followed.
- Formulates goals and objectives for the project and actively manages the project schedule including the critical path and all the milestones to ensure project goals are exceeded or met
- The ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team where you will coordinate staffing requirements and actively serve as a mentor for the project’s team
What you need to qualify :
- 5-7 years of relative job experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management with a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices
- BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to closeout project efficiently and effectively
- Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy are essential
- Experience with self-performed work is preferable but not required.
