Physical Job Requirements
Working as a professional packer / mover / helper can require frequent lifting and carrying of heavy boxes and / or furniture.
Every day is different; however this is an active career and most days require a combination of the following.
- Climbing stairs or ramps while carrying heavy items is a daily occurrence.
- Kneeling or Crouching to wrap furniture is frequent.
- A strong back, shoulders, and knees will help you be successful while carrying, wrapping, or loading heavy items.
- Extending hands and arms in various directions while holding and turning heavy objects around corners is common while making deliveries.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
