POSITION : Cloud Platform Engineer

LOCATION : 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES : Partner closely with application development & support teams to support consistency in deploying applications and automating Devops / CICD pipelines.

Administer DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Gitlab and Jenkins. Build & set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in Kubernetes and Docker environments.

Work with application development teams and provide expertise and automation enablement in migrating to the Cloud (Google cloud and Microsoft Azure).

Implement and test solutions for automation to the defined specifications ensuring they meet all requirements and are aligned to the needs of the business and the customer.

Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services and microservices.

Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all Cloud platforms and application domains. Act as a key contributor in cloud environments.

Telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S. 10% travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Applicants must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following :

• IT infrastructure, cloud delivery, or architecture development;
• Leadership and participation in cloud adoption and product migrations;
• Interpreting non-functional requirements and SLAs to support services architecture;
• Exerting influence and alignment with multiple business and technical teams including product, development and operations;
• Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web services;
• Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform; and
• Windows Server and Linux Server

OFFERED WAGE : $140,000 - $175,300 / year
