This position supports the contracting group administratively and operationally. They directly support the monthly construction contract letting process, manage all administrative tasks for the group including outside communications, as well as ad-hoc tasks and projects. The position is key to free up time for other team members to create and let contracts. This position acts as the direct support for managing the office, contract letting, and bid analysis for the Contract Administration Division. Incumbent manages and approves the registration and Geotech reports for each letting as well as preparing and analyzing bid analysis reports and initiates investigation. Ensures the smooth operation of the office, the letting, the bid analysis as well as communication channels with external and internal customers.
This position is located in INDOT's Central Office, Legal / Contract Administration Department. This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $39,000.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and / or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
