Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $110,400 - $151,600 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing systems, processes, and employees that define a scalable distribution network for materials and goods to support business and growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Direct all aspects of the distribution operation including picking and packing, shipping and receiving, replenishment, production, returns, inventory control management, and maintenance of facilities.

Establish, evaluate, and maintain performance standards for all areas of the warehouse that can be measured to ensure accountability and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Provides leadership in cost reduction through continuous process improvements and automation to maintain and enhance margins to sustain profitability.

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate with Client Relations and Sales for the successful implementation of new clients.

Partner with the senior management team to strategically plan for future growth.

Analyze capacity and capital equipment requirements, client forecasts, business objectives, organizational processes, etc.

Ensure safety compliance of all team members.

Develop and execute plans for continual growth and peak seasons.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience.

Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills.

Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.

Demonstrate clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines within their respective industries to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and organizations.

Proficient with Enterprise Systems such as SAP software and Warehouse Management Systems.

Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing / keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor).

Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.

May require occasional lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs.
