Your Role as a Therapist

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy, addressing the unique needs of each client.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to empower clients on their mental health journey.
  • Engage in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans, maintaining professional standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic mental health care.

    • Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • Passion for mental health and commitment to high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
