Job description

J ob Summary

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching. Must have two years of experience in the field working as an IT Technician.

IT Technician Instructor Roles and Responsibilities

  • Teach IT Technician courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisor
  • Prepare and grade written and practical examinations
  • Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College
  • Dress professionally in accordance with faculty dress code
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED : 2+ years of experience as an IT Technician
  • REQUIRED   IT Certification CompTIA Tech+ (within 75 days of employment)
  • PREFERRED Undergraduate degree
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques

    • Job Type /   Schedule

  • Adjunct / On Call / Substitute

    • Monday - Thursday : Per Diem (day time and evening hours)

  • Friday-Sunday : Off

    • Salary

  • $25-25.48 / hourly (Based on Prior Education and Experience)
