Monex USA is looking for a bright, skilled, and highly motivated Salesforce Developer to develop and enhance our internal Salesforce applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a focus on customizing and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet unique stakeholder needs.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Salesforce solutions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Monex through innovative Salesforce development initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with our Sales, Operations, Client Services, Compliance and Marketing teams to efficiently develop Salesforce software solutions to increase business effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with other Monex companies as you collectively build global Salesforce components.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Work closely with our Business Analyst and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce solutions.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as ERP, trading platforms, or third-party applications.
  • Customize and extend Salesforce functionality through the development of custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity by identifying and resolving technical issues and implementing best practices.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements and enhancements to our Salesforce instance.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain a robust Salesforce development environment.

Qualifications

  • 4- year college degree.
  • Proven experience (4+ years preferred) as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with corporate Salesforce development and implementations.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST / SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model, data modeling, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Jira or similar Issue and Project Tracking Software
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Salesforce Developer certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
  • Experience with Salesforce development and implementations for global enterprises
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within foreign exchange, core banking or payments.
