Lean Automation Manager

Position Summary :
The Lean Automation Manager is responsible for delivering effective and efficient service delivery in support of the business.
In this role, reporting to the SVP, Head of Business Shared Services, she / he will plan, direct, and work with leadership to align Lean Six Sigma and automation projects with the organizational goals and objectives.
Essential Functions :
- Lead the effort to educate and create a culture in the organization that leverages Lean Six Sigma and Automation.
- In concert with RS CIO / COO identify the robotics and AI tools that will be available for the business to use.
- Standardize and facilitate the development and review of business cases for all Lean and automation projects.
- Provide strategic day to day direction.
- Develop and execute training and communication plans.
- Organize training programs for colleagues in basic terminology and approach to runs successful process improvement & automation sessions.
- As processes are standardized, work with business, operations, and CIO organization to embed robotics and AI to appropriate processes to optimize outcomes.
- Develop an approach to capture and store relevant data to drive fact-based process improvement efforts.
Education / Experience / Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a leadership role within Lean and Automation efficiency space.
- Experience developing vision, establishing direction, and building commitment across the enterprise.
- Proven ability to attract and retain talent as well as motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate interpersonally with individuals and groups as well as strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Background in leading effective change management
- Decisive and persuasive with a bias for action
- Proven self-starter, critical thinker, and strong communicator
- Consensus builder with a servant vs. autocratic leadership style
- High EQ that builds loyalty with all constituents
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Team oriented and ability to effectively handle opposing views.

The target salary range for this position is $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
