Role Synopsis
The Business Development Coordinator role utilize exceptional customer service, marketing, and sales techniques to support increase revenue and enrollments to GM Dealer Chat.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, great project manager, who works well on a collaborative team.
The Business Development Coordinator role’s responsibilities include a broad scope of tasks including communicating with GM dealers, reviewing program data, working with vendors to market and campaign to dealers.
This role requires strong sales skills, attention to detail, good organization, great critical thinking skills and the ability to handle all responsibilities in an efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Daily :
- High volume of cold calling
- Answer questions regarding GM Dealer Chat program and packages
- Assist with dealer onboarding
- Appointments setting
- Create and manage sales campaigns.
- Assist with vendor integrations
Weekly :
- Present Power Point presentations to GM dealers and GM Leadership
- Attend and contribute in weekly vendor and operations meetings
- Provide weekly progress report on all Sales Coordinator projects
- Offer free trials of enrollment, package upgrades, and / or add-ons.
- Assist in departmental projects
- Analyze data
Monthly
- Create sales email marketing campaigns.
- Assist in creating surveys to dealers to ensure satisfaction with GM Dealer Chat.
- Maintain and / or create process documents
- Assist in departmental training
Required
- College Degree or a minimum years of proven sales experience
- Automotive sales experience is a plus
- Call center experience is a plus
- Experience with Siebel CRM is a plus
- Proficient with full Microsoft suite
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
- Able to participate in any required training / industry-specific certifications to maintain the required knowledge and stay current with all training.
