Maintenance Mechanic - FT; Days
ROLE :
The Mechanic Trainee is responsible for hands-on predictive and preventative maintenance as well as repairs to machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Responsibilities are to be completed in accordance with established processes to ensure safety, cost, efficiency, timeliness, and production of a quality product within specifications and minimal defects.
This is a highly collaborative position requiring the ability to work within a team and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities based on business needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings or diagrams including equipment, tooling and other blueprints and mechanical renditions.
- Knowledge of or experience in troubleshooting or performing mechanical repairs
- Knowledge of or experience with plastics processing machinery a plus.
- Basic computer skills including email and data-entry.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Mechanical and / or construction aptitude or training preferred.
- Math and measurement skills
