Position Summary :
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and administering a multitier Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure for the UCI Health enterprise.
The incumbent will work with people across the organization (developers up to C-suite) and drive requests and initiatives to ensure that reporting and access are aligned across the organization, including report writers, data engineers, database developers, data governance committee, and information security.
The incumbent will administer, implement, and manage BI solutions (such as Tableau and Power BI) to facilitate the effective use of UCI Health data for current and future needs with minimal oversight.
In addition, the incumbent will lead in the creation and maintenance of proper workflows and guidelines and will direct team members to adhere to standard work

Salary Range :
Annual Rate Minimum $90,500.00 Midpoint $130,100.00 Maximum $169,700.00
Required Qualifications :
Experience leading the developing, documentation, and implementation of standards and best practices for configuration and administration of a BI platform
Minimum 3 years' experience with direct hands-on experience developing dashboards and data sources with BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, etc.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a BI Administrator with direct experience implementing, managing, and monitoring published workbooks and data sources, software upgrades, extract refreshes, product keys and licenses, and user access requests
Excellent troubleshooting skills to track, monitor and resolve user's issues within BI platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working as a BI Administrator for a large enterprise system
Experience working with SQL and databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostGreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
Experience leading the adoption of BI data management and migration tools for SDLC at an enterprise-level
Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture within a large organization
Experience configuring servers for integrated authentication (e.g., SSO, LDAP)
Experience troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching BI servers
Experience configuring and troubleshooting
Experience leading end user training sessions and developing instructions and best practice documents that can be followed by others
Experience working with technical architects, data engineers, and data analysts to ensure optimal application and data design to support reporting requirements
Experience creating and implementing a functional security model
Knowledgeable in data governance
