About the role :

Gartner is looking for a Project Manager / Scrum Master who can provide project and program leadership for its Anaplan technology team supporting Gartner's Digital Market applications.

Technologies include SaaS vendor applications, internal applications, and multiple integrations with downstream technology teams.

The candidate will be responsible for project deliverables, sprint management, day to day activities of deliveries including coordination with partner technology agile teams.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in an Agile / SCRUM environment and has demonstrable experience managing relationships / expectations of the business and development teams.

What you will do :

Ensures Agile / Scrum process is implemented effectively ensuring delivery aligns with the program roadmap.

Lead the team through scrum ceremonies ensuring effective time boxed meetings and successful sprint planning.

Accountable to facilitate discussions with internal associates or external clients to resolve impediments and issues in a timely manner.

Report project progress to leadership and executive level stakeholders using reports / presentations (weekly / monthly status reports etc).

Manage projects with small or large cross functional teams with external dependencies or 3rd party project team members.

Identify systemic operational issues / risks and resolve them as well as identifying root causes and process improvements.

Exhibit a desire to foster an environment of continuous improvement using scrum and project metrics.

Project & Portfolio management ability to do quarterly planning, capacity calculation and track execution and progress of the program.

Well versed with Program deliverables like Project plans / milestones, RAID, Budget Tracking etc.

Manage and coordinate all aspects of release management, including but not limited to, release planning, impact assessment, change management, and release communication.

Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external product owners.

What you'll need :

2 to 4 years of experience working in an agile scrum environment as a project Manager / scrum master. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must Have :

Working knowledge and understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various product owners verbally and in writing.

Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.

Strong people and project management skills.

Coaching skills and ability to motivate teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Who you are :

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required .

Excellent communication skills.

Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced agile-scrum environment.

Owns success - Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the solutions.

Strong desire to improve upon their skills in tools and technologies.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 69,600 USD - 96,750 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
