Social Worker MSW
The social worker is knowledgeable about disease, treatments, available community and governmental resources, psychosocial implications for the individual and their family as it pertains to their age and stage of development.
The social worker also provides appropriate interventions and discharge planning services to patients and their family.
Education and Training :
Social Worker I
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Social Work or related field required.
ACBSW preferred.
Social Worker II
Master’s Degree from an accredited School of Social Work required.
LSW or LCSW preferred.
Experience and Knowledge :
Social Worker I and Social Worker II
2 years’ experience in medical Social Work or related field preferred.
Mandated and Permissive Reproter Training required
