Mechanical Field Technician
Position Description : Seeking a Mechanical Field Technician for on-site customer support. Technicians will be stationed exclusively at one customer location, eliminating the need for travel.
Responsibilities :
Utilize basic hand tools to perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and service tasks on mechanical equipment. Additionally, conduct product demonstrations as needed.
Offer technical guidance and expertise to support customer needs.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High School diploma (Associate degree in a technology field preferred).
Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and principles.
Familiarity with PC applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to utilize iPads for various work-related tasks.
Aptitude for presenting technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Competence in interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capability to manage multiple projects independently.
Flexibility to adapt to changes and tight deadlines.
Customer service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Capacity to make cognitive decisions and meet deadlines accurately.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs., bend, squat, walk, stand or sit for extended periods, and push and pull equipment carts.
Availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
