This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely : Monday & Friday / on site : Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Join our team as a Sales Representative with a focus on New York Life Group Benefit Solutions. This role centers on nurturing productive relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.

You'll engage with brokers and consultants, selling group insurance products to mid-market clients and collaborating with internal teams for successful outcomes.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive new business by managing the sales process from sourcing RFPs to delivering proposals and product presentations.
  • Meet or exceed annual business plan goals for new business premium and case count.
  • Maintain regular communication with brokers and consultants, fostering deep relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize upsell penetration and ensure profitable retention.
  • Participate in industry events to enhance knowledge and expand networks.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary tracking and reporting requirements.
  • include participating in training programs, serving as a mentor and subject matter expert, and contributing to process improvements and special projects.

Qualifications :

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of sales or related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in life, accident, disability, or leave insurance is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required, with the ability to travel domestically up to 60%.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and technology tools, with negotiation and influencing skills.

Location :

Chicago, IL Schedule : Hybrid, with remote work on Monday and Friday, and on-site presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
