DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a motivated individual to fill one of our key roles as a Business Development Specialist for the AT&T SMB program.

In this role, the Business Development Specialist is responsible for handling mobility and fiber to small businesses.

As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy within the AT&T SMB program. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential strategic partners, effectively assessing their fitness and readiness to engage in our program.

Meticulously qualifying leads through a series of targeted interactions, you will ensure that only the most promising opportunities are handed off to our dedicated team for further development.

This position will report to our office in Urbandale, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential program candidates using provided lists and self-sourced contacts.
  • Utilize a multi-channel approach (calling, texting, emailing, social media) to maximize engagement and response rates.
  • Perform detailed research to identify and vet potential contacts within the designated industries.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Track and report on lead generation activities and outcomes, providing insights for strategy adjustments.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with the telecommunications sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in using various outreach platforms (phone, email, social media).
  • Strong research and analytical skills, capable of identifying and pursuing new lead sources independently.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and leads simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed targets and contribute to the team's success.
  • Knowledge of CRM and lead management software is highly desirable.
