JOB DESCRIPTION
Construction Superintendent
Description :
- The Construction Superintendent is responsible for schedule, budget, material ordering, sub-contractor management
- Knowledge of safety and OSHA standards
- Submit RFIs for design questions to the internal design team, architect, or engineer
- Log construction progress and submit daily / weekly reports to project manager and client
- Assist with change requests and change orders
- Read blueprints, schematics, designs and drawings and assist sub-contractors with any necessary questions changes and scheduling issues
- Submit building permitting, schedule building and engineering inspections,
- Work with management on productivity, costs, quality control, document management and processing of applications for payment
- Finalize final punch list and assist with completion of work
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
- OSHA 30
- Experience with ICC (International Code Council) and IBC (International Building Code)
