Finance Manager, Engineering Resource Analytics

The Commercial Product and Infrastructure (CPI) Finance organization is responsible for driving Microsoft Cloud & AI (artificial intelligence) capacity, margin excellence, and resource allocation rigor across Microsofts portfolio. Within CPI, the Resource Investment Strategy finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving team that partners deeply with engineering leaders to ensure $20B+ resources across ~100K engineering FTEs (full-time employees) are continuously aligned to strategic priorities.

The Finance Manager, Engineering Resource Analytics, will work closely with Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) to support Capacity engineering leaders. This role partners with engineering, global talent acquisition, and finance to plan FTE head-count and vendor resources, as well as implement a strategic workforce talent roadmap to support long-term capacity growth. You will leverage problem-solving ability at multiple altitudes (high-level strategy to tactical execution) and navigate complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
