General Manager - Telecom Construction
Job Description
Seeking a telecom construction General Manager based in SoCal. Pramira Inc needs a leader to guide and nurture a traditionally risk adverse culture in the next phase of expansion and growth.
Via organic and in-organic growth, business has potential to be $200m revenue in next 24 months. Successful candidates need to be able to leverage the current market but innovate and adapt to the rapidly changing market dynamic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site management of field related activities on construction project site
- Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, within budget, and schedule
- Plan and supervise on-site functions
- Bid, estimating, and contract negotiating
- Manage QC program to ensure quality work in the field
- Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required
- Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built
- Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices
- Attend preconstruction meetings
- Assume responsibility for productive of jobs, efficient use of materials, equipment, and contractual performance of the project
- Other duties as reasonably assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in telecom and / or civil construction, electrical, or EV charging infrastructure projects (or similar)
- Minimum 5 years of bid and estimating experience, understanding of pricing risk together with contract negotiating skills
- Highly motivated individual with impeccable ethics who’ s passion for the business is infectious and can establish a high-performance culture
- Strategic leader who is forward thinking and will understand the applicability of cutting-edge construction technologies.
- Familiarity with work and safety programs
- Experience scaling in-house and subcontracted teams
- Excellent communication skills and supervisory skills with field construction personnel
- Familiarity with telecom and / or electrical equipment, design, and construction techniques (or similar).
- Strong project management skills
- Strong experience with P&L, estimating, bid, and proposal
Additional Information
Pay range : $90,000-$120,000 DOE
