cFocus Software is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Cross Domain Solutions program in Washington, DC. This position requires an Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
Required Qualifications : Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field 5+ years of experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs) DoD 8570 - Security+CE Proficient knowledge in Cisco IOS / IOS-XE / Cisco ASA FW configuration(s), management, and software upgrades Solid understanding of TCP / IP related protocols, Dynamic Routing Protocols, Switching technologies and features Ability to successfully solve complex network related problems reported by users / clients within a secure environment.
Experience with VMWare's vSphere virtualization suite Skilled in system patching and vulnerability remediation Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Experienced in Linux and Windows systems and how they interact in the compute environment on the network. Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Experience with Centralized Logging Products (Splunk, etc.
Knowledge of COMSEC and encryption technologies Experience Administering Jira Experience in OWL, forcepoint, radiant mercury, ISSE guard and Cisco Duties : Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client / server / storage / network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Apply Standard Characteristics of Labor Category Capability Levels, provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Isolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
Apply Standard Characteristics of Labor Category Capability Levels, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
