Accounting Manager

Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to maintain financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and improve processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to support audits and compliance activities.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
Requirements : Qualifications :
5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction, landscaping, or a related industry.Strong knowledge of payroll systems and labor compliance regulations.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
