Network Engagement Manager - Critical Medical Needs Program

This is a hands-on role contributing to the growth and maintenance of program-based networks and managing customer relationships encouraging agencies to partner more deeply through care coordination.

The Network Engagement Manager (NEM) supports the expansion of partners and their usage of specific, United Way owned / operated technology platforms to support direct service programs such as the Critical Medical Needs Program (CMNP) and Greater St.

Louis Community Information Exchange (CIE). Also, serves as a trusted partner to Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) while cultivating opportunities for program feedback and development.

The Network Engagement Manager (NEM) is responsible for creating and implementing partner strategy, deepening relationships among community providers, and facilitating effective working relationships to foster trust between partner agencies to benefit clients and access available programs and services offered by United Way and / or identified partnerships.

Position Responsibilities include :

Relationship and Database Management :

Identifying aligned clinical and community-based organizations, their referral partners, and new organizations who may be interested in accessing United Way programs and services and / or joining a regional community information exchange.

This may include but is not limited to facilitating information sessions, community meetings, one-on-one meetings, presentations, and phone conversations to engage organizations.

  • Build and maintain relationships with the clinical and community partners.
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on outreach and onboarding efforts.
  • Work with the team to identify partner needs.
  • Assist agencies in compiling profiles of their organizations in the Unite Us database.

Support integration of consumer, community, and clinical voice in the design and implementation of the Community Information Exchange (CIE)

  • Support the development of consumer and community engagement efforts, centering consumer and community voice.
  • Conduct appropriate follow-up and ongoing support for community and consumer voice workstreams to ensure the organization's equity and engagement principles are upheld.
  • Review network data to assess service gaps and identify organizations that could fill those gaps; work closely leadership to determine appropriate outreach strategies.
  • Identify new functionality and services that could deliver value to partners, users, and community members.
  • Coordinate with other transformation work, making sure to align with other UW activities and leveraging those initiatives to advance collective goals.
  • Create timeline and training content and materials for reporting, capacity building, and learning communities
  • Produce reports and analytics for internal and external audiences.

KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) :

  • Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience working in program implementation, integration, evaluation, quality improvement, or related area.

NOTE-Familiarity with the social service landscape in the region is required; experience providing social or navigation services in the region preferred.

  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust while mobilizing people to take action.
  • Must successfully complete InformUSA Database Curator exam within 24 months of employment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience implementing new initiatives and system transformation a plus.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable turning big ideas into actionable processes and project plans.
  • Excellent presentation skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a wide range of community groups, partner organizations, internal customers, and volunteers.
  • Ability to adapt and keep current in a rapidly changing and organic environment.
