SSM Health-Saint Louis University Hospital, in collaboration with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is excited to welcome an experienced Transplant Nephrologist to join our growing transplant program. This full-time academic position offers a faculty appointment at Saint Louis University, with rank based on experience and qualifications, with preference for candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level.

Position Overview :

The successful candidate will integrate into a dynamic multidisciplinary team encompassing transplant nephrologists, surgeons, coordinators, and administrative staff, contributing to kidney transplant care and program advancement through :

• Pre-transplant care : Evaluating and selecting transplant candidates
• Post-transplant management : Managing immunosuppression, complications, and co-morbidities in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Program development and outreach : Fostering strategic growth and community engagement
• Academic responsibilities : Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
• Research contributions : Engaging in clinical, population-based, or basic science research
