Scope of project
We need your help! Over the years, many devoted members have donated their aviation book collections. As a result, we have approximately 10,000 books which need to be catalogued by September, 2022, or until all books have been entered.
Volunteers in this position will mostly sit at a desk as they enter book information to our internal library system. We will train you and be available for software support during all shifts.
Aviation experience and knowledge is a plus, but is not required. However, if you have an interest in aviation, this work would be very interesting because of the plethora of books you’ll be exposed to. Our office is located in the historic Flabob Airport (Riverside County) which is a location of great interest to those with a passion for aviation.
- Please only apply if you are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays from 11am-3pm as this work is only done on our premises during these hours. Volunteers are welcome to help any or all of the days each week. We greatly appreciate your interest.
