SMV Recruiting is currently working with a well-known, family-owned company in Syracuse, NY who is looking for a Route Delivery Driver / DSD Representative, CDL-A / B in Syracuse, NY. As a Delivery Route Driver, you will be responsible for handling direct store deliveries on a daily basis, Monday – Friday. Responsibilities :

• Perform daily inspections on trucks and report daily on its operating conditions
• Ensure vehicle is maintained in a safe and professionally operating condition
• Maintain driver log in accordance to federal motor carrier regulations
• Promote and maintain company, FMCSA, and OSHA safety policies
• Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering milk products from the warehouse or depots to customers
• Rotate and fill shelves with merchandise at retail locations removing out of date product as needed
• Assist in writing customer orders and make changes as needed
• Accurate account collection and reconciliation
• Collect all empty cases returning to warehouse at the end of shift.
• Provide superior customer service to each account through timely and accurate delivery of all products, always engaging in positive interaction with customers
• Act as a liaison of the company, resolve customer concerns and issues and when unable to do so provide information to supervisory staff
