Job Title: Safety-Conscious Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician who is committed to maintaining cleanliness and functionality in various environments. The ideal candidate should possess a sense of urgency, the ability to work safely and independently, and have a experience in carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment, including cleaning trailers by buffing floors and wiping down walls and counters.
- Assist and train in inspecting electrical systems, basic wiring, and roofing maintenance.
- Clean windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and doors.
- Perform carpentry repairs on floors, walls, roofing, siding, windows, and fixtures as needed.
- Ensure the working area is clean both inside and outside, including the lawn, parking lot, and building.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and orders.
- Attend regular safety meetings with a safety-first mentality.
Essential Skills
- Safety training, preferably OSHA 10 hour certification.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Basic carpentry knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Proficiency in using and operating a floor buffer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
- Some knowledge of computers.
- Electrical, plumbing, and welding skills are a plus.

Work Environment
The role involves working both inside and outside, in a shop and yard environment. Conditions can vary with the weather, with potential work inside trailers that may not be air-conditioned. The standard working hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility to start at 5 am. The dress code includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt, with company-provided glasses and gloves.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
