Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill an Advice Nurse position. This is a full-time position within Gardner's Call Center located at CompreCare Health Center at 3030 Alum Rock Ave. San Jose, CA 95127. The Call Center Advice Nurse is responsible for medical triage of Gardner’s patients using established protocols and providing specified diagnostic results to patients. This position is also responsible for collaborating with staff Providers and Pharmacists as necessary to facilitate patient care including prescription refills and monitoring lab data. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, with strong customer service skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

This position may work a hybrid remote / in-person schedule.

Minimum Qualifications :

The minimum qualifications of these positions are listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Current California RN license with no restrictions.
• Minimum one (1) year current experience as a RN in a clinical setting, required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a telephone / call center Advice Nurse, preferred.
• Computer experience, required; NextGen experience, preferred.
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, required.
• Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills
• If selected, other documents and certifications may be required as part of the hiring and credentialing process

Compensation :

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

Registered Nurse - $43.51 - $49.81 / hourly

Bachelor of Science in Nursing - $45.68 - $52.30 / hourly

Master of Science in Nursing - $47.86 - $54.79 / hourly
