Key Responsibilities
Review chart documentation for accuracy and completeness, resolving inconsistencies with appropriate staff
Ensure accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and modifiers in compliance with coding guidelines
Monitor quality and productivity standards while collaborating with providers and other departments
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
CPC, CCS-P, CMRS, or AAPC certification required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 3 years of experience in coding or medical billing preferred
Entry-level knowledge of Medical Billing and Coding Terminology preferred
Experience in a Urology or physician practice environment preferred
