Essential Functions :

• Plans, organizes, develops, oversees, and directs the hospitals nursing services and other clinical functions across the system.
• Participates with the hospitals governing body, management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the hospitals decision-making structures and processes.
• Develops and implements plans for provision of patient care, patient care programs, policies and procedures that delineate how patient care needs are assessed and met by the institution.
• Speaks on behalf of clinical and nursing services to the same extent that other hospital leaders speak for their respective disciplines or departments and exercises final authority over those associated with the provision of clinical treatment, and services.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs other job duties as needed and / or as assigned.
