CNC Press Brake Setup Technician

Imagine starting your shift at our Denton, Texas facility—1550 N. Western Blvd, Suite 190—reviewing a fresh set of blueprints and turning flat sheet into precision-formed parts. At Anchor Fabrication, you’ll set up and run modern press brakes, verify first-article quality, and keep production flowing with craftsmanship and care. We have opportunities on both first and second shift.

What your day looks like

• Review prints and specs, program/setup the press brake, and perform first- and last-piece inspections.
• Bend, form, and straighten metal stock to exact tolerances using your understanding of material properties.
• Operate a variety of press brake machines; adjust tooling, back gauges, and offsets for repeatable accuracy.
• Document labor and basic shop paperwork in a timely, accurate manner (Epicor experience is a plus).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; champion 5S and safety practices.
• Support production needs with flexibility—overtime and shift changes may be required.
• Pitch in with additional tasks as needed to meet customer deadlines.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication (preferred).
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Solid math aptitude for measurements, bend allowances, and stack-ups.
• GD&T knowledge; must pass a competency test.
• Hands-on experience with Amada or TRUMPF press brakes is a plus.
• ERP familiarity (Epicor preferred).

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/trade school background is a plus.

Schedule & Location

Full-time. Multiple shifts available (1st and 2nd). Location: 1550 N. Western Blvd, Suite 190, Denton, TX 76207.
