Job descriptionPreferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to technical and non-technical project stakeholders Ability to understand department priorities and align activities with company objectives while receiving competing work requests and deadlines Proficiency in Human Machine Interface programming - preferably NI LabView Experience with closed-loop PID control systems Knowledge of data acquisition systems, machine control systems, and electronic transducers Proficiency in other computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to intermittently sit / stand for various duties. Ability to walk in plant periodically, bend and stoop to access file drawers. Ability to work on a computer for the majority of the workday.

Scope / Summary Statement : The Programmer Analyst shall have the responsibility of providing assistance as required for assigned R&D projects and test programs in support of Miner Enterprises, Inc., Miner Elastomer Products Corporation, and Powerbrace Corporation.
Job Function Statements :
- Develop and Maintain LabView code for the control of equipment and the collection Data during laboratory tests
- Perform data validation, reduction, analysis, and presentation for Laboratory and Field Testing
- Develop and Maintain SOMAT code for the collection of Data during field tests
- Troubleshoot abnormalities / failures of electronic sensors, data anomalies, computer, and data acquisition systems
- Collaborate with R&D and Maintenance personnel on troubleshooting of electro-mechanical test equipment and repairs / upgrades
- Research, Recommend, and specify new data collection equipment or procedures toward enhancing and expanding the Research & Development capabilities
