Job descriptionMinimum of 7 years experience Online and batch programs using Cobol on the iSeries (AS / 400) Understanding of EDI / LDEX processing Skills COBOL, RPG, CL, DB2, SQL, QUERY400, ROBOT, SFTP, IMPLEMENTER, ALDON Responsible for end-to-end development and Maintenance of software Code, debug and maintain several COBOL modules on an IBMi platform. Convert multiple job code modules from FTP to SFTP file transfer protocol. Create a rolling monthly SQL table load of currently active client / product counts. Analyze and fix job code errors that occur in production batch processing. Use COBOL and CL, along with some minor SQL , RPG and QShell scripting, for back-end legacy batch maintenance and enhancements, on AS400 / iSeries / IBM i mainframe. Utilize Aldon and Robot Schedule tools for source code versioning and batch job oversight

- Duties include on-call support, analysis & debugging, documentation and testing. Monthly ON-CALL. 3 people in the team. Very stable application.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The COBOL coding is minimal. Its a stable application. primary work is the FTP to SFTP conversion
The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($45-60). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and / or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
