Quality Engineer (Entry Level – Aerospace)
Overview
This is an entry‑level Quality Engineer position for Junior engineers (degree already completed). The role supports customer return analysis, corrective actions, and manufacturing quality improvements in an aerospace environment. Relevant internship or co‑op experience is required. Must be ITAR compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with analysis of customer‑returned parts and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support root cause analysis of quality issues and help implement solutions.
- Review RMAs and assist with follow‑up actions.
- Work alongside and support the final inspection team.
- Participate in MRB activities for nonconforming material.
- Prepare and support AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Assist with internal and external quality audits.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Document quality findings and actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (already completed) — Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar.
- Internship, co‑op, or academic project experience in manufacturing or quality.
- Basic understanding of quality principles and root cause analysis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a hands‑on environment.
Nice to Have
- Aerospace internship experience.
- Exposure to AS9102, FAI, or inspection processes.
- Experience with connector or electromechanical products.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
