Rust Software Developer

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with software engineering using Rust

• Experience designing the architecture and containerized services with Kubernetes

• Experience withautoscaling strategiessuch asHPA/VPA,clusterautoscalers,and designing systems that scale horizontally within seconds

• Experience developing software within an Agile framework andDevSecOpsinfrastructure as part of a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• Experience with PyO3 for Rust-Python interoperability and building Python extensions inRust

• Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, anddemonstrateinitiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years of experience in software development, or 7+ years of experience in software development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube,Clippy, cargo-deny, or cargo-audit

• Experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation

• Knowledge of SystemsModeling Language(SysML), DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

• Ability to display a personal or professional GitHub profile demonstratingRust projects

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
